Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital

Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (邵逸夫医院) is Meridian Health International's primary hospital partner and one of the most internationally recognised public hospitals in China. Founded in 1994 and affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, it was the first public hospital in China to achieve Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation — the global gold standard for clinical quality, equivalent to the standards applied at leading hospitals in the United States and Europe.

The hospital operates across seven campuses with over 4,300 licensed beds and sees approximately 2.2 million outpatient visits annually. It is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, a select group of international institutions that meet Mayo Clinic's rigorous standards for clinical collaboration.

All-English medical services are available through its dedicated International Healthcare Centre, making it the most accessible hospital in Hangzhou for international patients.
