Overview
The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (浙江大学医学院附属第一医院), known as FAHZU, is one of China's most advanced academic medical centres. Founded in 1947 and affiliated with Zhejiang University — consistently ranked among China's top three universities — FAHZU has been rated 6th nationwide in overall scientific and technological strength by the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences.
